   Hi Dawn, I just read, “Cara’s Heartsong” on DSF. I liked the story, anything with gears is cool. I had a problem specifically with the line, “…with a small dose of the sedative.” If you say, “the sedative” as opposed to “a sedative”, you have to tell us which sedative it is. Otherwise, I enjoyed the story. Keep up the writing,
