Will your favorite groundhog find and run from his shadow, or is spring on the horizon? My bet is on winter, at least in the Chicagoland area, but I hope for spring for you all! My writing will continue on, winter or not.
Yes, the stories continue. I’m working on the Sofia Watson novel series, as well as my next short story collection. (Do you want some cozy sci fi?) There are other projects in the works too, and I’ll post about those when I know my timing better, but I am hoping to bring you more of my stories this year.
The big news right now is that for the first time ever, my work made its way onto the British Science Fiction Association Award’s 2024 long list. Which means, someone out there liked my collection enough to recommend other folks read it. Friends, there is no higher compliment than a reader telling other people to read your book. I am excited and honored, and that adrenaline spike was so sweet.
