Hi Everyone,
It has been story time lately! It started with the release of Sunflowers In The Snow ebook in August and paperback in September. I had a reading online at the Flights of Foundry online convention held by Dream Foundry. Then, the Speculative Literature Fiction Foundation hosted its Deep Dish reading series at Volumes Bookcafe in Wicker Park (that’s Chicago – and they have copies of my books for sale!). And finally, I attended World Fantasy Convention in Niagara Falls where I read a few more of my stories to a wonderful audience of friends and convention attendees. I have so much fun at my readings. I even gave away a free copy of my collection to one lucky attendee.
Sunflowers In The Snow is my first book, a collection of contemporary fantasy and paranormal fantasy short stories. I will have another one coming out sometime in 2025 containing science fiction stories. My main focus right now is on two paranormal fantasy series, which will be available in 2025 and 2026.
Sofia Watson is the story of a college woman who discovers her long lost mermaid sister as well as the lies her mother has been feeding her. This series has flavors of Harry Dreden meets the Little Mermaid meets Charmed.
Vartik Sanctuary is the story of a motherless fifty year old woman who is essentially a social worker to a group of gifted adults and young adults on an island where anyone with paranormal abilities are invited to live in safety. Mostly safe, anyhow, otherwise there wouldn’t be a story about them.
